  • I’d like to share my feedback on completing the SSI Level 1 course in the pool with Olga Davydova in Yerevan.
I came to the course at, let’s say, a complete beginner level — barely able to swim. The idea that I would have to dive somewhere and then swim underwater didn’t feel very comfortable. The pool seemed too deep, and the water too… wet :)
But all four sessions flew by like a single moment. Each time, after the theory block, there was a fairly long warm-up followed by practice in the water. Olga did a great job assessing the level of each student and selecting individual preparatory exercises that were manageable but not too easy.
The main focus is on technique. It doesn’t matter how many meters you swim or how long you stay underwater — what matters is that everything is done correctly, with good technique, and safely.
Many thanks for the knowledge and experience gained.

  • I’d like to leave my feedback about taking the beginner freediving course with Olga Davydova.
To start with, it’s hard to imagine a person more distant from the idea of diving than I was. I was always afraid of it, and depth caused real fear and panic. What pushed me to take the course was the desire to confront my fears and my curiosity about such an amazing activity.
Of course, my results are not as impressive as those of some other people, but for me this is already a big achievement. The most important thing is that somehow Olya helped me fall in love with diving. I’m no longer afraid of water or depth. Now you can hardly drag me away from diving :)
I will keep progressing and continue training with Olga.
As for the course itself: it’s very well structured and consists of four sessions. Each one begins with theory, followed by a warm-up, and only then the actual dives. The tasks are adapted so that they are manageable for each participant, and the coach constantly guides and supports you.
I was very worried about how the learning process would go if I couldn’t keep up with the other participants. It turned out there was nothing to worry about — the most important thing is your own progress compared to yourself. Everything was as comfortable as possible, even for such a scaredy-cat as me.
Olya, thank you so much for your attention, patience, help, and the incredible positive emotions!!! I’m sure we’ll see each other many more times! 😊

  • I completed a basic freediving course in a pool in Yerevan with the wonderful Olga Davydova, and here’s what I want to say — it’s such a joy to work with a coach who is so understanding, careful, and attentive!
Before this, I knew almost nothing about freediving, and it was really interesting to get introduced to a new culture for me. Honestly, when the coach talks about gently exploring your limits, paying attention to your own sensations, and not forcing anything, it warms your heart. Especially in a discipline where you can easily get hurt if not handled properly and carefully.
My first freediving experience was truly fascinating — you enter another world where movement isn’t limited by gravity and actually happens in three dimensions. Diving vertically headfirst seemed very strange at first, but by the third session, it already felt quite natural. I also learned a lot about the body’s capabilities.
Thank you for introducing me to something new and beautifu
